NYE ride postponed

Forecast was for very strong winds and a top of 41C - currently it's 40.2C (104F). Let's see what tomorrow brings?


Post script: It actually rose to 42C (107F) later in the day.

    Eek! How to lose weight in full leathers!! The wind sounds scary too.

    About 28 degrees at our place late afternoon. Going out later for a dusk to dark ride top down in Jennie's MX 5 to enjoy the weather and to play with our joint Xmas present, a new GPS!

    Hi Geoff, thanks for the NY wishes. All the best to you and Jennie as well for a great 2011.

    I checked the weather site at 2.00pm and the Temp here was up to just over 40C! I'm now glad that we pulled the pin on our ride. Anyway, NY Day is in keeping with our run of 3 years ago and it's a good reason to be sensible tonight. A spin in the MX5 on a balmy NZ evening sound like a great way to finish off 2010.
